The Role

As a Senior C# Software Engineer at Advannor, you will take technical ownership across the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through to delivery and continuous improvement. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable software solutions, bringing both technical depth and a collaborative mindset. Your experience will help raise the bar for the team while contributing meaningfully to complex, real-world engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain services across the software platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.

  • Ensure efficient data collection and secure transmission across integrated systems and platforms.

  • Contribute to early-stage feasibility studies and the definition of functional and software requirements for new features.

  • Drive and participate in software architectural design decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and quality.

  • Write well-designed, testable, and well-documented code.

  • Actively participate in code review processes, raising the technical bar of the team.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practices.

  • Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

  • Advanced programming skills in C# / .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core / .NET 5+.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with SQL Server for database management.

  • Ability to work in Windows Server environments.

  • Strong knowledge of common programming patterns and test strategies.

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written, in a multicultural work environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Angular (v11 or later) for front-end development.

  • Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and log analysis.

  • Experience with REST APIs.

  • Experience with unit testing.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).

  • Experience with JIRA or other Atlassian tools.

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems or industrial/OT environments.
